Brbinj
With its beautiful bays speckled with crowns of olive threes, it is well known for its honorable 800 years old Glagolitic history. There are Illyrian ruins above the village.

Brbinj is located between two picturesque bays named Jaz and Lučina where is the ferry port for the island.

At the beginning of the 12th century, there were salt-pans belonging to the convent St. Krševan in Zadar.

A stone cross dated from the 9th century has been found in the church. Because of its convenient bays, a small shipyard has been built in Brbinj.

You can visit a beautiful bay Brbišćica over the hill, surrounded with mighty cliffs and numerous caves, the safest port on the outer side of the island.
